I can highly recommend “Call Me Hunter.”
I remember reading a story by him how he met his wife. She came out of the Dance/Arts/ Etc/world and I have to believe that he used a lot of episodes from his/her/their lives in the book.
For example, I really think he and his wife were at the lunch with Loni Anderson et al.
And that preface-Wow!!! The last 2 paragraphs, especially.
