And you gorge yourself on beaver tails
And elk ribs while you can
For all the starving times
You thought you’d never eat again
And you drink the trader’s whiskey
That you’ve dreamed of for a year

Happy New Year all! Just got in from the wind and the rain. Walk around the “neighborhood” turned into a walk up Spencer Butte. Funny how that happens; funnier still that I hit Eugene at least twice a year and haven’t climbed it before. No better place to see the last sunset of the year.
Well, I’m more about EMPTYING traps meeself, but Happy New Year anyway! And let the new “Roaring 20’s” begin! Or will this decade be known as the “Whining 20’s”????
