Turns out that Ken Laager, who illustrated a special edition of Joe R. Lansdale’s “Black Hat Jack,” is a prolific artist on frontier themes. I really like his work. He’s one of those artists whose work you recognize though you didn’t know his name. Now I do. Tip o’ the hat to Ken Laager.
