‘Listening To Talkers Makes Me Thirsty… And Hungry’

Eat your pork and beans

I eat more chicken

Any man ever seen…

— Willie Dixon, “Backdoor Man”

Was kicking the can around with my brother the other day about one of the all-time badass scenes ever committed to film. It’s from “Game of Thrones.”

You need no context to appreciate it. It’s “medieval Westeros,” but it could be a tavern on the Monongahela River in 1777 or a saloon in the Arizona Territory in 1880. Or maybe Deadwood (**sigh**).

If you’ve ever got tired of listening to some blowhard flap his jaw…

Can’t embed this one, so watch it on Youtube here. (Just click the play arrow and then the “watch this video on Youtube” text in the middle of the screen).

The Hound certainly clarifies his understanding of the situation well.

    And then, “Someone is…”

    Great writing, better delivery.
