Well, compadres — the Frontier Partisans Warriors of the Wild Lands Kickstarter Campaign is launched.
The brigade is headed up the river, with high hopes of a rich haul of furs from the literary and historical streams of the Shinin’ Mountains. Hopefully I won’t be jumped by Rees or mauled by Griz along the way.
I’m sure you all know how much I appreciate the support you have shown for Frontier Partisans. It is no exaggeration to say that I would not be doing this if it weren’t for the community we’ve built around this electronic camp fire. Your enthusiasm for my work keeps me fired up, and I truly believe you will find “Warriors of the Wild Lands: True Tales of the Frontier Partisans” a worthy read, one that you’ll want to share with others.
To that end — here’s the Kickstarter link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/809441675/warriors-of-the-wildlands-frontier-partisans-book
Saddle up and head on over and throw down. I appreciate it!

I’ve pledged.
Though I have to say I always worry about doing these kind of things online. Probably, just being paranoid.
JimC says
Thank you. And I hear you. KS has good security
Matthew says
It seems that way, but I do worry.

Get the ink ready.
Best of luck Jim!

Still trying to figger out whut-tha-heck a KICKstarter campaign is? I don’t quite git it–whatta we havta kick? I may contact you more privately to ask some questions so as not to embarrass my ass on the Internet too bad!…..but, incidentally–LOVE the John Colter painting above! I’ve got that painting on the cover of a John Colter book I’ve got! Note the(critter geek commentary) ACCURATE and realistic wolf-dogs from the Crow village. Reminds me of folks trying to visit my place! But heck yeah, I’ll call off the pack fer a good batch of stories!!!

Pledged and fired up to read it. Thinking it will fit nicely on the shelf afterwards next to a favorite from my youth, Capstick’s “Death in The Silent Places”. Good hunting!
JimC says
That’s honorable shelf space. Thank you.
