The Yellowstone saga will have another origin story chapter in December — this one set in the Roaring 20s.
From Cowboys & Indians Magazine:
This latest installment of the Dutton family origin story focuses on a new generation of Duttons led by patriarch Jacob (Harrison Ford) and matriarch Cara (Helen Mirren), and explores a fateful early 20th-century period when pandemics, historic drought, post-World War I traumas, the end of Prohibition, and the start of the Great Depression all drastically affect life in the Mountain West.

Wow! I am not a Yellowstone hater, I just haven’t seen much of it. My TV time is pretty limited. I would make an exception for a Ford helmed season. I am afraid the powers that be are going to dish us up a hack job Indy sequel, which I am awaiting like a punch I can’t duck or parry.
We got rained out of one day of deer season at my folk’s place, and did happen to watch “Beast”. That was a pretty decent survival flick, even though their guide was silly enough to put an optic on a stopping rifle.

Bad signs on the Indy front. Shouldn’t even be made, IMO.

Agreed

I wonder if the Winchester Model 1894 is the same rifle Kevin Costner owns in the present day? I’ll definitely be checking this out. Lots of tiny easter eggs in the trailer, and loved how Elsa Dutton narrated.
JimC says
Yeah, Bringing back Elsa that way is a nice touch. She’s got a lovely speaking voice, too.
