Trekked over the misty mountains to retrieve Ceili from Eugene and bring her back home for Thanksgiving. The drive over Highway 126 is a delight to me; a couple hours each way of dense fir-and-fern forest. Listened to Celtic music (which fit the misty, green atmosphere) and a podcast on Iroquois History & Legend.
It was fine, indeed.
Looking forward to Marilyn’s fine feast, games with the neighbors, a couple of hours on the wood pile and a four days of completely checking out of the national circus.
Thank you all for the time you spend at this electronic campfire. Our conversations are a highlight of each day. I am thankful that the work that is such a passion for me resonates with you as well.
I hope your holiday is a grand and abundant one.
